We want to ensure all children, regardless of background, maintain continuity of learning and development as they transition between services and settings in the early years.
Our transitions project aims to:
- build shared understandings of effective transitions for children
- assist early childhood education and care services, schools and education policymakers to use evidence to improve transitions for children, families, teachers and educators.
Evidence shows that effective transitions to school contribute to children’s long-term learning and development.
